Moore continued to juggle her musical career as well, releasing Mandy Moore (2001) and Coverage (2003). She then scored a leading role in the teen romance A Walk To Remember (2002), starring opposite Shane West. Moore soon branched out into acting, landing a supporting role in The Princess Diaries (2001), starring Anne Hathaway. Moore then parlayed her music success into an acting career, with roles in the teen romances A Walk To Remember and How to Deal, among others.
